Has anyone installed the Phatbox that is using a Bipes type Ipod adapter?

I have the adapter for my Sirius unit, it may be a Bipes adapter but it was installed by the previous owner. It has a switch that I flip depending on if I want to listen to the CD changer or the Sirius. It's also the type that will cut out the music for a brief second or two on the Sirius unit when the CD changer is changing tracks or CD's.
So if I get a Phatbox will this mess with the adapter? Does the Phatbox still send the same type of signal or is there anything else I need to worry about?
Thanks,
Trent

the CD, though. As far as the radio, etc knows, the Phatbox IS a CD changer. I have just been too busy to put Bipes' adapter in, that I got almost a year ago...

You can use that in conjunction with the input adapter and have select from:
AM (HU)
FM (HU)
Cassette (HU)
CD
PhatNoise
Aux Input (XM, Sirius, Ipod, etc...)
