Has anyone replaced the BOSE head unit from there TT or A4?

BTW John, the Boston Acoustic 5.25" midrange fit in the front door no problem, as should 6.5" ones. (nt)

Hey man

You said that nothing was cut or damaged, but did you leave the stock woofer grill as is? I would like to, but the top of the speaker is cut off by like an inch and a 1/2 by the door panel. Damn I wish they had round grills. What I want to do is just cut into the door enough to add a round grill an replace the existing grills (on either side of the new ones with material that is exactly like the door panel. I figure this will be the closest I can get to the original look as well as geTTing the look I really want anyway.Good luck,Greg.
