Default Has anyone tried to use serial VAG-COM cable with USB adapter?

I can't get mine to work, and my labtop doesn't have a serial port. does the 10400 bps non-standard baudrateit support have anything to do with whether or not it will work? it's really inconvenient having to haul the pc out to the car everytime I feel like "Vagging" the car. Thanks.

Default I have a Keyspan High speed serial2USB and it works great....>>

No problems at all. I tested it against my friends USB adapter and the speed was the same.

Default and do you use the USB Vag-Com program or the serial program? >>>>

does the serial2USB adapter need to support 10400 bps non-standard baudrateit? because I tried a cheaper $15.00 serial2USB adapter on my laptop and it doesn't work; "Interface not found" says the USB Vag program. I installed the driver for the adapter and everything.
