in your "<a href="https://www.audiworld.com/forum/m.new/tt/msgs/148917.phtml">Utah's Ultimate Garage</a>" post. You don't find these synthetic towels put tiny scratches in the paint. I trust your not scratching your customers paint but I've also thought that synthetic scratches. I'm hesitant to give these a try.
btw, I have a good amount of experience with paint (as I started a detailing business) and never ruined a paint job, only improved them. I guess what I'm asking is, is there an advantage to these? I've come to love Zaino which comes off VERY easy and I could see how these might be good for Meguires or Zymol...

These things....well, just about any of the microfiber offerings out there, if the surface is clean of particles, leave not a single mark. I actually switched to these from cotton because of too many problems. Yes, even with the high-dollar cotton towels.
The blue/purple car that is shown in that garage is incredibly suceptible to surface scratches. And, it's especially noticeable under the lighting that he has installed in there. Don't know if it's just soft clearcoat or some other reason, but the only wax-off towel I can ever use on that car with total confidence are these microfiber ones.
So, there's my preach:-)

Up until now, I haven't had ANY problems with the 'right' cotton towel on either my cars or the ones I've detailed over the past couple years. I even detailed a Diablo in a similar color and didn't have any problems with scrathes.
However, I do trust what you have to say and I will give them a try and let you know how I like them. I just contacted the Illinois distributor for pricing and what not... Maybe I can convince you to give Zaino a try, hey, I switched from Meguires products.

or something like that. I contacted the distributor for Illinois as I'm curious the cost and want to give them a try. Just select New Jersey and write an email or call.
