I am having issues installing mine. If you have installed some, could you please post here and/or e-mail me?

In my situation, the control arm is 1.080 inches thick, but the bushing "barrel" is only .925" long - it isn't long enough to go through the control arm... Doesn't seem right, so I am wondering why that is...

Default Many Vortexers have had that bushing disintegrate because it has no metal collar like

the factory bushing and gets alot of side loads so I didn't install it. I highly recommend putting in factory TT bushings.

Default I've heard about the "stories" but haven't seen the evidence... * now with pix*

(have not looked on Vortex either, though). How much of their crap DO you believe ; )

TTStuff claims to have sold 60 sets, and I have not heard of issues (or installs) here. Regardless if they disintegrate or not, I want to put them in and see for myself what happens. Unfortunately the parts don't seem to fit...

This is where the bushing will end up when pushed in all the way:

That bushing ain't gonna fit like this:

Default Guess I'm a "search-tard", cause I can't find anything there either. Can you link to something if

you know about it?

Default Search the archive on the Suspension Tuning forum - you won't find pics

but you will find people who tried em and then went back to the stock or TT bushing. The lip on the bushing is the only thing that holds it in place - once it tears there is nothing holding it in place. Go for it - then you can tell us how long they really last :-)

Default

Well, with mine, the lip doesn't even make it through to the other side!

Default OK. Found this thread, but it still sounds like alot of hearsay... If I can get mine to fit, I

will at least give it a try. Got nothing to lose at this point...

http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2300853</a

Default Sounds like a great fit to me :-) Like I said........

no real benefit - lot of downside - don't see why you would do it. I've talked to many people in the industry - including the guy who did my install and he also said to stay away from them unless you like replacing them frequently.

Default dumb question, but I guess you got the right bushing for the arm >

don't they offer a MK1 and a MK2? Any possibility they sent you (or you ordered) the wrong one?
