Default It has Begun... Woohoo...

Well guys, I finally have taken the dive and have decided on my very first mods for my TT. They are currently ordered from ECS and I have found a performance shop near me that will help with any type of install.

I live in Asheville, NC, so it is somewhat difficult to find a shop even remotely near me that will do any type of performance work to a TT. I stumbled across GMP performance located in Charlotte, NC while talking to Jan Davis at Jan Davis tire, my local tire shop. Checked out their website and talked with someone there and it looks like they will be assisting me with upgrades. Are any of you familiar with them? Their addy is gmpperformance.com.

Anyways I just ordered a Forge Race DV, bilstein sports and H+R sports. When I take the car to get these installed I'm also going to get the APR 93 program installed. At least this way I dont have to go through the hassle of shipping the ECU out for a few days.

Anyways, I excited... woohoo...

but for the chip I'd have to ship out my ECU, whereas I could have it done at GMP without incurring any shipping and handling fees.

I guess I could do the DV myself, I'm just so mechanically UNinclined that I'd just probably shy away from screwin with it and let someone who knows what they are doing install it.

Default you should wait and watch what they do, that way you know what exactly is going on

in case later down the road you find a problem or something. I ALWAYS try to hang around with my mechanic cause I like to know exactly what went bad, etc
