Default It has dawned onme that SkyDive69 is a TTroll....Why?

cuz he goes back to his *Lightning Board* and claims that we are a bunch of pussies for not running at the track and posting our 1/4 mile times in our signatures....

What is this? An SVT or a Honda board?

Do you think that our TT's are 1/4 mile cars?

Do you think that if I were to buy a car that I wanted to race in the 1/4 mi, that I would buy a TT? Would that make alot of sense?

The reason that most of us dont go to the track because we dont feel the need to *prove* ourselves to a bunch of 15+ sec Hondas...

I enjoy my car for the overall balance and comfort that it provides....If I wanted a 1/4 mile car, I would have cut my hair in a mullet and bought a Mustang..

When I add a performance mod, I feel no need to run to the track and *prove* that it was worthy....If I like it..then I keep it, if I dont, then I move on.

If you would like to pay for my dyno runs for the *proof is in the pudiing* please email me, otherwise, stick with your Ford Lightning friends that can haul a load of wood (he said wood) and run your 1/4 mile times.. and I will continue to enjoy driving the best car I have owned to date

Default Sean I gave him the numbers he was looking for . . .

did you read my response to him both on this forum and the L forum?

I am sure he owns the car, just does not understand it!

You said WOOD! oops . . . so did I!

Default Those guys are kidding, right?

Comparing an American pick-up truck with a German sports/GT car. How sad...

Agree. If it's true, then he's just a bad shopper...no research before buying.

Default OK, but so what?

FWIW: If he's a TTroll, ignore the cad.

If he wants to call us pussies, fine; I've been called worse before and don't feel lessened. OTOH, if he's trying to adjust from the testosterone-overload syndrome that causes people to gain some sort of personal validity from said bragging, then pity the man.

I sense that most people here aren't particularly interested in taking scalps, counting coup, bragging about BMW kills, 1/4 mi. times, or other such validation (the phrase "nothing to prove" comes to mind.) 1/4 mi. times are (in the same vein as auto-x competition) a sensible way of pushing the performance envelope, but I don't think the absence of track time slips in my baby makes me (or it) any less than what it is. Beyond that, to each his (or her) own.

Just my $.02. Cheers!

Those "mullet-mobiles" are a lot faster than, and handle nearly as well as, our TTs...
