Default Have an 2001 TT 1800cc...Need suggestion to increase performance!

I owned an Audi TT 2001, 180hp (factory setting only), and never been modified. It only runs about 12,000km in less than 4 years. I went to a shop to setup a new sound system and I met an English pilot of Air Macau and he told me that there's, sort of like , an "add-on computer chip" to increase the power of my 180hp engine. He seemed like he knew so much about car and unfortunately Im not well informed about car. I don't even know where the radiator is. Since I both it, I never had a chance to pour water in it. But never experience any single problem from my engine. Sounds funny but its true.
Well, back to this "computer chip" thing, I want to ask if there really is a computer chip to increase a 180hp to atleast 200hp? If there isn't, WHAT SHOULD I DO TO INCREASE HORSE POWER BUT WON'T DAMAGE/HURT MY ENGINE? And give me an idea on how much will it cost me. Im planning to modify my car from appearance as well as performance. PLEASE ADVISE ME OF WHAT TO DO.

A small potato,
Coolvinz

Default I would go with the Revo chip and the TTDA or VTDA for starters.....

the Revo chip goes around 500 bucks but work it...You will notice a great increase in power...I LOVE MIN...You will need to by a boost gauge first though and have that to make sure not overboosting...Normally the car will boost about 12 stock but with Revo will get about 18-20. The TTDA helps it breath better and a must have...You can do either one in any order...Boost machine though before the chip....Email me if you have other questions..
The Revo by the way flashes your program and remaps it for added HP

Default it sounds like you might not be located in the US...

depending on where you're located that might limit the availability of mods. A chip will give the biggest increase in power, then an exhaust and intake to free up a bit more.

Default Go here for the TTDA and other performance ModShack Mods...>>

On the chip, either Revo or APR will give you a 1 bar (14.7psi)boost and both are about $500 US.

Hope this helps

Off to Modshack land...

Default Greetings....I cant really take a picture of it due to the Revo being

uploaded to the cars computer system to increase HP....The guy I used had on a laptop and connects inside the car where computer terminal located and updated the software from there...It took all of about 20 minutes to do...Go to the link below for the Revo dealer closest to asia and see if possible for you....The front end of my car is the Proj Grill along with the Votex spoiler below.. The Votex is an OEM audi part you can get at the dealer and the Proj you can find at thettshop.com...ALl these were mods that were added later..Thanks for the commments...

REVO

Default Re: Greetingsss>>>

Ill really appreciate if you could give them a call. But actually, i have sent an email to revotech, thanks for TTTEXAN, he's been so helpful. You know what, not so many people has a TT in Macau. I think less than 10. Macanese/Chinese prefer BMWs', Benz', Subaru and other Japanese brands. But a lot of A4s' & A6s' though. Well, where do you stay now? I took some photos of my TT this morning. ill try to upload it later. A simple red one. Thanks
