Default headlight adjustment >>

hey guys & gals...

tried to adjust via the instructions at the link below to no avail.... i changed the softcoding but it goes rightg back to default.

the white screws under the hood do nothing to the lights when I turn them... clockwise... counter-clockwise, 1 turn, 2 turn, etc... nothing works... they must be fine tuning...so I set them all back

any ideas?

https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/878378.phtml</a

Default Um... you're doing it somewhere plenty dark right?

I have a feeling that one turn might move it a lot when you get >10 feet away. That's why Audi techs use special equipment to do make adjustments like that. I doubt you'd be able to watch the ballast move.

Default Actually, the screws do something but the HID's auto leveling brings it back to where it was...

So the only real way to do it is to follow Jeff Bipes instructions using the VAGtool and adjust it that way.
