Default HEEELLLPPP!! Car has died. Elec problem. No dash lights when I open the door. Car turns over but..
won't start. Hope it is just a fuse or something but suspect it may be a lot more serious like dead ECU. Any advice will be most welcome.

Default Im going to guess dead battery...
Because my car did something like that one day. I would try to start is and it would slowly go and eventually start.

Default I thought battery but is only about a year to 18months old and the interior lights and
headlights and other elecs like radio etc.work

Default Vag Com..see my sig
could be something like a fuel pump relay but we need codes from Vag Com to start with.

Not battery, been checked. Car seems to starts but computer seems to turn it off immediately.

Default Probably your immobilizer system them..>>
Does it start for 1/2 a second? Key symbol lit on the gauge panel? Try another key. It may need to be resyncronized

Will try but then why would there be no dash info , time etc, when door is opened if it is that?
