Default It can be "turned down" using the VAG COM tool

If you're under warranty have the dealer do it for you. I tried several times and have given up. When I exit the car, I turn the interior alarm off (middle button under the hatch).

The coupes still have them... though I've been inside my car with it on and it didn't set it off.

Default What alarm? I can shut my trunk with doors locked (alarm mode?) with nothing happening . . .

I've never paid much attention to it. What should happen if the red indicators indicate that alarm is set, and I open and shut the trunk?

The alarm should turn off when you unlock/open the trunk
