Default Help!!!!

Just got my replacement Forge from Pete and put it in. Went for a lil ride .....
I have a TOTAL loss of power.........
I mean a TOTAL loss WTF????
It's almost as if the e-brake is on, no giddy up and go! This is supposed to be the new version of the Frorge with the metal piston instead of the plastic one. Could it be possible that the new one is broken??? Before i installed it i pluged one end and did the blow test and seemed to work just fine.....

Default Major loss of boost from somewhere...

obvious first thing to check and re-check is your connections at the valve. Also have a look at the ther end of the hoses going to/coming from the valve where they connect at the opposite ends. If that turns up nothing, put the OEM valve back in, reclamp, and see if the problem goes away. If it does, you probably have a faulty Forge. Let us know!

Default agree . . . how was the car before you put in the Forge?

If it was the same as it is now, then you have a leak somewhere else possibly.

Default Remove the small line ( vacuum actuating ) hook up a hand held vacuum pump and first see if it will

hold an applied vacuum. The next thing to check will be to note if the piston moves and stays displaced with vacuum applied. Then release vacuum and note the piston return with the spring assist. This all shoud follow a check for tight hose connections and split hoses.
