You really should do your learning...
with some hands-on assistance, at least with things that have safety ramifications, like mounting wheels.
No offense, but this isn't something to be learning solo on. Simple mistakes can cause serious problems.
Kudos for effort, but you should try to find someone locally who's knowledgable and can look over your shoulder.

I gave him some advice on the phone; we confirmed that they're adapters...
... but the adapter principle (of bolting to the hub, then the wheel bolts threading into the adapter) is the same with H&R's 25mm DRA <i>spacers</i>. I didn't know if he was actually putting S8 wheels on the car, or if he had S8 replicas in 5x100.
