Help...gas smell TT225R......
01 TT225R...purchased 9/2/01...every once in a while I can smell gas after parking...strongest on gas cap side...under rear wheel well...no visible leaks...not a full tank. A couple of times with the top down right after a tight turn........anyone experienced this? Thanks, Grantt

uh oh
mine did this after fuel sensor replacement. When they tried again, it leaked so bad it dumpe a gallon or so of gas on the ground.
3rd time repair was the charm... there are cover plates so you might not see a small leak.
Not your gas cap right?

I had this prob..
About 2 weeks ago. The check engine light came on, so I took it in and they told me that a sealer near the gas cap became loose. They fixed it fairly quickly and assured me it was no big deal. Everthing is good now.

Crap, this morning the garage stinks of gas...no engine light... guess I'll have to take it in...hate the thought of that.......thanks for your help...grantt
