help..my oil pan sensor light came on where the ok usually comes..
how many miles can i go before get an oil change done? my service technician is 150 miles away! TIA!!

I presume then it's not low, but it actually is the sensor >
I'm not positive since I haven't found it specifically in the manual - and admittedly havent searched the Bentley - but the icon alone indicates low oil; I'm not sure whether it saying "Sensor" is supposed to indicate some condition related to the sensor itself (connection or reading failure). Has it returned, or was it a one-time thing on that startup?

As you might infer, happened to me >
recently, in fact; I checked the oil, no problem, not low. I'll look in the Bentley this weekend and see if something turns up, but as I say, my guess is a failure of some kind is pending but not quite completely there yet.
