Default Help Please: Thick red fluid found on garage floor

Is this indicative of a Transmission leak? How serious is this??

On garage floor under the front passenger side, I found two spots roughly 2" in diameter probably from parking in two different spots. The fluid is reddish in color, very thick/oily and does not evaporate. Quickly inspected engine compartment and undercarriage and found a drop of the fluid on the underside panel but was not able to find the origin. Will have to take underside panel off to get a better look.

Default Shot int the dark....G12 coolant? >>

isn't the transmisson more to the driverside.

Take the Belly Pan off and look around the Turbo coolant hose, that is common leak for the G12 coolant.

Are you sure it's not coolant. I believe that is the only red fluid.

Seems too thick and oily to be coolant. What color is manual tranny fluid?

Default It's been a while since I changed the factory oil >>>

But I believe it was honey colored like motor oil (if I am wrong someone please correct me here).

Your going to have to get under there, take the belly pan off, and take a look.

Also, manual tranny fluid is called gear oil.

Default I guess I'll resume driving it since nobody has chimed in saying something has grenaded....

Been driving my Beast of a Landcruiser for the past few days and have missed the little guy.

Gear oil - oops, guess that's why I majored in electronics.
