Hi everyone. I have been reading this forum for a couple years but have never posted. I was hoping for a little help. I found a hose that was split. I have taken it off and replaced it with a silicone hose but it's not doing much when the car is running. It collapses. The original hose had a number 06A-103-221 C. I tried to find it but came up with nothing. The hose is a Z shape and connects to the middle of the under side of intake manifold. Here may lye the problem, I am in Australia and my car is a 1999 TT 225 APX. Okay thanks and hi.
Cheers Byron.

I can understand why people don't like it but it's usually because you put to much on. You have to go light on it. At the moment I am in the Canberra. I have been back here for a few years. I was in Vancouver B.C. for the previous ten years. So I have the experience to back up the Vegemite abuse. Ha ha. Yeah I think that I will track down some better silicone then. Where are you at? Thanks for your reply.

back in the day when I wore the green for Uncle Sam. Have some friends in Oz, down south IIRC.
Good luck on hoses. Not sure of the scene in Oz, but I know you know how to build cars there. Should find a good supplier of Samco or Hose Techniques on that continent!
G'day!
