Within the past two months I have changed the temp sensor, thermostat, sparkplugs, fuel filter and DV valve.
After installing the **** and 4bar fpr my car stuttered in the high RPM's. I contacted TTschwing and informs me it's probably the MAF. Yesterday I finally got around to getting a new MAF. I disconnected the battery, changed the MAF and after driving nicely for ~50miles, I started to drive the car a bit harder. I get a CEL and here are the codes
VAG-COM Version: Release 311.2-N
Control Module Part Number: 8N0 906 018 S
Component and/or Version: 1.8L R4/5VT G 0007
Software Coding: 06600
Work Shop Code: WSC 01236
7 Faults Found:
18010 - Power Supply Terminal 30: Voltage too Low P1602 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17545 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Rich
P1137 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected P0300 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16685 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0301 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16688 - Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected
P0304 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16686 - Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
P0302 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17536 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean P1128 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Any Help?
Thanks

if not clear the codes first...then drive....
On the multiple misfires, you probably have a vaccuum leak or bad coil packs..you were just in to replace the plugs, it possible the errors flared up due to loose connections too....double check everything after you clear the codes...

I also just installed a boost gauge. I will check for leaks. I put a T in the FPR hose line.
All the codes are after I disconnected the battery. But I will check connections.
Thanks TTinCT

maybe it's a vacuum line . There's one near the brake booster that is suspect. The 18010 may be because you disconnected the battery. I have the same setup as you & it's run good for more than a year so I'm thinking it's something recent in my case.Definitely erase the codes if you haven't as Hans said.I'll post if the coilpaks cure my problem. If not I'm dreading the task of finding a vacuum leak.

in a year or two. Possibly sooner. How old is your car? Supposedly the hitachi were better but that's what I have.Although I'm not sure they're the problem yet.

Did you do the work yourself? Because dealers are notorius for saying they did work that wasn't done. if they just cleared the codes & cleaned the MAF the problem could easly reoccur. If you purchased & installed a new MAF yourself then you can be sure it's new.
