Default Sweet!...An observation on the tire and wheel

I ended up getting the 225/40 myself and one thing looked a little weird to me on my setup and I also see it in your setup.

Look at the drop off point from the tire's edge and compare that to the wheel lip. It seems that the wheel's lip is sticking out further than the edge of the tire's contact (with the road) patches. So the sidewall ends up being slanted inward towards the car going from wheel lip to edge of tire.

I looked at the OEM setup and the side wall seems verticle.

Is this normal? Anything to worry about?

It looks ok to me. I actually think that's preferable for cornering.

Default I looked at my rear end again last night (that sounds bad).. Camber's obviously WAY off.

I asked my neighbor and he was amazed how bad it is. I need to get to this asap.. Time is tough to find though.

I bought a cheap digital camera so I'll try to take some pics to supplement Steve's web site.

Default Probably so, Don't think Edgeracing would have recommended the size combo if it was an issue

Did you take the TT to work today? if so, any differences in the ride?

Default I actually did. I couldn't resist. The ride seems about the same, but it's definitely quieter.

I'm looking forward to taking some hard corners after I've broken the tires in for a while. I figure I'd better give them a couple hundred miles first, though. So maybe in March sometime.

As far as the quiteness goes, I don't know if it's just my imagination or because they're new or if they're legitimately quiet. Time will tell.
