Hey...just noticed today two of my dealers Audi techs in finals of Audi'99 tech challenge because...
I'm in a new Jetta for a couple days while TTNancy is getting her PS Steering rack replaced. It's good to know one of the best techs in the nation is taking care of her, though, at Crescent City, New Orleans. (BTW, Nancy you get the Jetta tomorrow, I need the A6 back for another out of towner.)

Yeah, Jose at my shop here in Jax told me about his elimination...
Evidently the competition includes written tests as well as build/repair.
The competition was the reason he did not do my spoiler and Mark II, as he was out of town. He did most of the work on my car prior and gave me crap for having that done while he was at competition.

The A6 and TTmake a great combo. Pete RD and I have the same. He drives the 2.7T
6 speed. He's about to add the Eibach sport springs and has Avus S8 wheels on order. These are our 4th and 5th Audis. Our son, Adam drives a '93 S4.<p>MY2000 180QC

Audi family...
we're about to make it #8. Each child had Jettas, so that's 10 VAG cars - 12 total for the dealership owner (two Infinitis along the way). We and our dealer have a pretty good relationship since we both recognize it's long term and as long as we keep each other happy...it will continue.
For instance...no loaner cars left when TTNancy was diagnosed as a sleepover case...so the dealer pulled a new Jetta from stock and told me to break-it-in for them as I drive almost 100 miles one-way for service...but then two expert techs makes it worth it.
Where are you located? All cars from same dealer?

We have a very similar story, Adam started with a Jetta too. We are in the Seattle area
and have bought 8 cars from our dealer. Once Pete was given a Porsche Carrera to drive when the loaners were gone. We are very fortunate to have a great relationship withe the people at University Audi.<p>MY2000 180QC
