Default Hi all, Back from Gr. Cayman, 10K service today, and BMW trouble in Gr. Cayman

Had a great vacation in Grand Cayman.
Snorkeling was great, and the diving was excellant. Did a 'Shark Dive' in a very controlled situiation, where a team feeds the sharks, while you watch from 20 feet away. Not what you see on the Discovery channel, just awesome. The feeding frenzy is not to be believed.

Shots from a secluded beach we found here.

The dive bus was parked in front of our resort, and tried to back up, unfortunately, into the path of this very nice 740i.
Owner went berzerk. He will be shipping it back to Miami to be fixed. Small wonder why. He thanked me for taking pictures.

Last night on Gr. Cayman.

No TT's sited.

Dealer in Minneapolis did my 10K service today. I swapped out my Bailey valve for the OEM rev 'H', just in case.
I had mentioned one instance where my seat heater **** didn't work, when I turned on the key. I had to push in the ****, turn it, then extend it again.
They replaced it, no problem.
In the last few weeks, I had a problem with the hand brake lever. The button would not pop out, and had to smack it a few times with my hand, to get the button to release, so I could have the brake hold. They confirmed this, and ordered a new assembly.
They added in my Mobil 1 5W-30, in place of the Castrol blend 5W-30. No problem.
They didn't wash it, as I asked.
Claen, neat, professional response and support form this dealer. Nice.

This is the major Audi-Porsche dealer in Minneapolis, Carousel.
As I was in at 7AM, I got easy access to the showroom. Brilliant Black, Amber Red roadster, right in front, Nice 'Forest Green' all-road next to it. I was walking around, and an early sales guy was there, getting the cars ready, and opening the large door to the outside. He was going to bring in an A8L. They were going to move some of the cars around, and as he was the only guy on the floor, I kiddingly asked if he needed help, and he said sure. Got to drive a black Carrera convert. out of the showroom, onto the lot, all of about 60 feet, but it was fun.

I guess it helps to show up in a suit.

Hey, what's been happening here??

Default I got my car back from being rear ended a month ago, Brad Willis got pooped on by a seagul,(LONG!)

Denny got a new modem and monitor but she lost her furance or something this morning, and also had to reinstall windows and lost all her TT email. She also organized a TT dinner for tonight in Darien CT.

The Ford Contour people think they are faster than TT's.

MichaelTT and O2BNME did a exhaust db test. MichaelTT also got TT rotors sloted and heat treated.

Col Bogey is selling(sold?) 180TTC and got a 225TTR.

Ebb is...well Ebb.

Martyn in the UK is selling a special bracket for those of us that have the Euro Dash.

Wishing might get a job at an Audi dealership to feed her TT fund. She also started the a Green TT registry.

Sounds like lots of people are buying their summer rims and tires(I for one).

RobTT got the Reiger body kit from LLtek installed on his K04'ed 180TT he also upgraded his 18" TSW Revos to AEZ 18" rims and is selling 5 TSW Revo's for cheap with 5k on the tires.

OzChris might have a Audi OEM DV that works for a change.

LarryTT has been giving out helpful information as usual. He also started a Brilliant Black registry.

PES has a new GIAC chip, exhaust manifold and Garrett turbo for the A4 1.8T almost completed. TT should be soon after.

Ronal is having a March Wheel sale just for Audi's.

HoTTub's site went down because too many people went there to see his wife. He is also doing lots of mods to his car recently it seems. Ebb tries to call him a closet ricer and is in love with HoTTub's wife, but Brad says Ebb's girlfriend is named "Fistena" or "Handgla".

The stock market sucks.

My boss just bought a Silver Ferrari 360 Modena. I am taking him to pick it up in Friday! He is also having me try to find him a Mclaren F1 for sale. I found one but it is $1.5 million. Not sure if he will take it.

I am getting my 2nd stereo installed in my TT on Saturday.

The new lexus convertible hardtop added a spoiler to the rear like the TT just to be safe(or copy? or both?)

The 2003 Dodge Viper uses the same aluminum ring around the shifter as the TT.

APR aquired a 4 wheel dyno.

I think that's it for now. I'll edit this message if I think of anything new.

Default Wow! Thanks, what a reply! All I thought about last week was, how deep, how long, how many times...

Ooops, that might not come out right.

I was focusing on diving, bottom time, surface time, intervals between gin and tonics, etc.
