highest mileage 3.2 TT and what's boken ?
Hi, who has highest mileage 3.2 TT? Had any major issues? What kind of maintenance parts you replace?
I'm at 69K..bought at 63K 15 months ago... I did lots of maintenace when I bought it to get it up to like new spec.
Things that broke--Brake light switch, small radiator fan.
Things I replaced as preventative maintenance- DSG fluid/filter, Haldex fluid filter, oil/filter, Koni FSD's/busings/bearings, green temp sensor, all 6 coilpacks, 6 sparkplugs, rear brake rotor/pads, fresh brake fluid, gas filter, VTDA, serp belt, new wheels, and poly front swaybar bushings. I did all myself except Koni's.
Only real mechanical prob right now is metallic tapping noise I hear when drivers side window down and car hits bumps. Can't figure it out. Think it's swaybar endlinks or ball joint, but both look ok...

About the sway bar drop links. ----->
Put the car on a lift or jackstands and shake one end of the sway bar up and down. Impossible to see the small amount of slack if the car is on the ground. There will nearly always be a bit of load on the bar when sitting on the ground. 70,000 miles or so is when mine began to get noisy. Both fronts have been replaced. Rear still good and slack free at 92000 miles.

it's pretty simple as long as you don't strip out the lower bolt
I should have soaked mine with liquid wrench before trying to remove it, it was a bear to get out and it stripped the trailing arm. Then it made a bigger mess going back in.
I learned a few lessons on that one.
1) Take your time and don't work on your car in a rush.
2) Some things, no matter how simple are better left to my mechanic.
