Some cars seem to have it and some don't
In theory the 180 has a limit of 130 and the 225 143. A chip removes this limit.
Nancy, do you know how fast you were going? What gear? If not in top gear and you hit redline then you hit a different limiter. You hit the rpm limiter which knocks out a cylinder at a time until you back off.

Yeah I thought the limiter kicks in at 143....but been past this several times...
Ive checked the speed against my buddies Porsche.... always the same as his...plus using correct diameter in tires...maybe Canadian ones arent limited...wouldnt be the first time Canadian cars werent limited and US ones were
