First of all, thanks to the unknown member who took this pic!

I just bought a set of these H&R springs to replace the PSS9 ones that have completely collapsed. I was only wondering whether I can mate them to the PSS9's height adjustment plate at the rear. Anyone tried that? Also, these springs seem a heck of a lot stiffer than the PSS9 ones, anyone care to comment on the suspension's comfort after their installation?

TIA!

My gut feeling is that it would work just fine, as the H&R spring is (I believe) a direct replacement for the same rear spring that is on the Bilstein coilovers. The springs for both coilovers are made by H&R, I do believe.

Well, they are only 5 inches long unladen and I don't plan on lowering it more than an inch...

Default should have looked into that before buying them

but I would imagine that you are going to have a heck of a time adjusting the rears with the increased tension. Did bilstein not issue a new rear spring yet? You should get the full refund while you can. Get back labor costs as well.

Default ^^^ right. Why piece together a crappy setup when you can get a nicely matched eibach/bilstein setup

for HUNDREDS less. No headaches, and just the feeling that your car is properly setup.

Tried that. Bilstein does not admit there is a problem. What else, drag them to Court? :-(

Default What a headache! Remind me to buy a KW or FK or whatever next time for hundreds of $ less.

Lesson learnt.

Anyway, I'll try the H&R spring and post back my impressions. Hope this doesn't turn into an adventure, but from what I understand I should either expect my teeth to fall off after the first speed bump or the body shell to shear in half. Great!
