how do I get those damn clamps off the DV valve?

Default how do I get those damn clamps off the DV valve?
Audi put some kind of awful clamp on the top and side of the DV valve hoses. I am trying to install my new Forge DV and I have no idea how to get these bitches off. Forge supplied 2 new hose clamps, which I assume are used to replace the clamps removed other than the "normal" hose clamp used on the bottom of the DV. Someone let me know how to get these bitches off.

Default Do you have a pair of diagonal pliers?
You can use that to break them off. -Doug

The screwdriver tricked worked for me.

Yep, the screwdriver worked for me too. The pliers couldn't cut through it.
