How do you clean the oxidation off of battery terminals? Pretend its on my TT.

Its actually on my boat. The terminals are getting very hot. Do you just wire brush them and go, or is there something that will work better and longer?

Little wire brush thing you just push on and turn, or just use a regular wire brush. Most marine stores also sell little pads that go on the terminals that fight corrosion...

and then before reconnecting the cables, but a couple drops of dishsoap on the terminal to help prevent the corrosion from returning.
