How do you know if your TT has an Immobilizer? What is an Immobilizer?

Default Turn the igniton to on. If it has a car/key icon showing, you got it...

There is a transponder in the ignition key. If the ECU doesn't get the proper code from your key set, then your car will not start. If would be theives bypass the ECU with another, then it won't recognize the bypass ECU and won't start.
