How does the TT do in snow?
#3
Yes... Dunlop M2's. The only way to go. Unless you go Blizzak. But don't think that AWD can save
you in the snow with high performance tires on. But you'll be happy with the m2's in the nice winter also.

Re: Anyone have any exp. with Pirelli 210P?
If this is the Pirelli all season tire that comes optionaly with 03 TT, than yes I have them. I purchased my TT in the spring and had a chance to drive it in the last snowstorm of the season. They stuck like glue in the snow. More good news. They are just is good in the dry. They hold the road well, give a smooth, low noise ride, and don't chirp around corners. I've experienced all season tires with my old all wheel drive Eagle Talon. Those being BF Goodrich and Michilen. The Pirellis are the best all around.

It really depends on how far you want to push it..
Me personally.. Im not too happy with the way it handles in the snow compared against other awd cars.. The TTs awd system has a very on and off feeling when really pushing the car.. An example that sticks out in my mind, is when your driving around a turn with partial throttle being applied and the car looses traction.. Ive noticed that it will usually push (there are conditions where the rear end will come around, but in most situations Ive found that the car pushes).. If you step on the the car continues to plowing and then if your lucky you can get the rear end to swing around.. If your doing the same thing in an allroad (partial throttle around a turn then bamm, you start to loose traction) the car just drifts with all 4..
If your looking for a car to take up to the mountains for a little snowboarding.. I say look at something else that has more ground clearance.. If you just need something to get you home from work through a little snow.. Yeah.. It will get the job done and you can have some fun doing it... Personally. I get a kickk when I fly past someone when there is a little snow on the ground.. They just look at you, like.. What the hell does he think hes doing in that little car.. But truth is with a good set of tires, and awd you can do that in any car.. Its just a little more entertaining doing it in a sports car simply because most sports cars become garage queens during the winter months..
