Default How free should the piston move inside the Forge 007 DV?>>>

Mine already came pre-lubed with a pink color lube. Do I need to lube it a little bit more right out of the box? I'm still having trouble with slow, sluggish throttle and boost after installing the Forge as compared to the OEM valve in the high gears. Could it be that my car is in limp mode? If so how do I get it out of limp mode?

Default Smooth and easy under spring pressure. Lube no more.

A properly operating DV will not be sluggish: it'll hold against boost pressure. I opine you have another problem. VAG is your friend.

It should be as free as if Abraham Lincoln was driving it!

Default Do you mean...

moving very slowly, because the National Government is controlling it?

Ignore speed. Smooth is what counts. You can't test speed with your fingers.

It's definitely smoother. Just didn't pick up as fast on highway driving like it used to with OEM.

Default Transitional stuff with a diaphram valve is always faster and more responsive than a piston type..

When on the gas and both are holding boost there shouldn't be any difference in feel though..(unless one is leaking)
