how hard is it to replace the rear tail light assembly?

how hard is it to replace the rear tail light assembly?

I don't have many tools nor do I have a garage to work in. Is this the kind of thing I can do without having to touch the body panels, or should I take it somewhere and pay to have it replaced?

You need 1 hand and no tools... that's it =o)

2 thumbscrews on the back of the assembly (accessed through trunk) and the whole thing pops out

if you didn't know you were feeling around for 2 thumbscrews it might take you a while to figure out anyways. haha. I had a buddy show me the 1st time I took mine out =o)

although sometimes, they are in there real tight. had to loosen one by using a pair of

pliers to get it loose.
