How long does Xenon headlight bulb typically last?
My driver's side headlight just went out. I didn't hit any major bumps of any kind. It was working fine last night, then I started it up in the morning and turned on the headlights due to the rain--the (X) indicator went on and sure enough the light is out. I turned it on/off to see if cycling might fix--no go.
I'm hoping it isn't the ballast. Assuming it's just the bulb, is there a reasonably priced place you can get them from? Thanks!

how does $40 sound for a brand new pair of bulbs

I replaced my front right bulb this past March - I got my TT Coupe in December 1999 - so it went out after 7+ yrs. The bulb was about $130 if I remember correctly. I had the local German bodyshop install it for me. The left front is still working.
