How many coupes DON'T use their rear seats or have removed them?
I've seen many of you with coupes removing your rear seats to place subs or whatever instead...Many regard them as useless because of the limited space they provide.
In my case, I use them very often without having to pull my seat at the front. It's happened many times since I bought the car, 4 people inside and only the passenger's seat pulled a little front to make more room for the back. Ofcourse, I don't mean I can drive long distances with 4 people in the car, but for short ones it's totally convenient...It's funny though, how everytime people sit in the back seats, they knock their head on the roof, it happens EVERYTIME! Maybe I should stick a warning like the one on the trunk door...lol Do you have any similar experiences when people sit there?

several of us have....
I can't imagine putting someone back there, particularly behind me, without pulling the seat forward...you must be pretty short! : )
In fact, you can't even put the driver's seat all the way back with the rear seat folded, which is how I would have kept it all the time. With the rear seat removed, rear vision is increased significantly.
In my experience, the only hoodlums that might need to occupy the rear seat are either children (which I don't have, at least none that I know of : ) or people that have had too much to drink at the party/bar, neither of which I really want back there.
It does provide some sound insulation, and I guess the rear seat might have made a nice package shelf, but it makes a much better place for a subwoofer...or additional storage space. The utility factor of the TT goes up significantly with it removed. The only downside to having a large cargo area back there is that you have to restrain things 'cause they'll roll around.

Nobody sits in the rear seat in mine. I just find it to small
I'm a big guy and I will not be able to pull my seat forward for anyone. I'm thinking of removing the rear but not sure yet

The main reason I removed my rear seats was so that
people could not sit back there.. Allowing people to sit in the rear means I have to worry about them tracking in dirt, or scuffing something up.. It just ain't worth it, besides if any of my friends sat back there they'd complain that there isn't enough room (all my friends are over audis recommended height of 4'3")...

Yeah those seats are pretty useless...
I think they're there more for insurance discounts then usability..you can fit one normal sized person back there if they lay sideways.. but then they're feet scuf up your leather so.. I just use it for storage.. bags, grocery shopping etc. When you put it down for more storage.. everything rolls around.. and it doesn't look as good with the seats down.. imo

Wife was sitting back there when I lowered the lid on her head.
She's only 5'3 but that was before I saw the 4'11" limit in the owners book. I keep mine folded down so I can go in the carpool lane with one passenger but up when I park for security (laptop in trunk). Occasionally, when it's just the guys for a very short ride will I have one person in the back

limited??? try non existant. I can't even get my hand between the two seats (more)
but then again I'm six foot, two hundred pounds, so my seat is pretty far back. I prefer to keep them folded down actually. One, it lets you hear what the car is doing better, and two it improves what the stereo sounds like (for some reason). Not only that but I don't have to bother with folding them down to get cargo in there.

classic back seat rattle, I know people have greased the latches on the seats to eliminate the chirp
