Default He does fantastic work, I don't know if you saw Donovan's wheels

At some point I'll be rotating all of mine thru him but I have a 5th so I won't have any down time.

Yeah, my dilema is the down time of five days. Wish I had a fifth OEM so I could just take the bad ones in one at a time. I don't know who Donovan is that you are speaking of. Are his wheels post on the picture thread on Skip's website?

Default DIY! I am refinishing my AMG wheels.

I polished the wheel lip and painted the centers, then clear-coated.

Default Are these the forged 5 spokes?

If forged, then it's a tough job. You would need to strip of the clearcoat, re-polish and then re-clearcoat. You might be able to refurbish spots and re-coat the whole wheel. But if you need to do a lot of work on them, I would leave that to a professional.

If it is a silver painted wheel, then you just need wheel paint and clearcoat. You would smooth out any problems, clean the wheels thoroughly, mask off the tire (all of this done off the car of course) then paint, followed by clearcoat.

I got paint at www.expresspaint.com.
