how to tell if a car is raven black, or brilliant black?

raven looks like espresso brown/grey
it is really nice in person. JPAmerica has it and i saw it at a GTG last year. very nice color, and easier to take care of in the sense that scratches and swirls are less noticeable with the metallic paint.

With the bits of metallic flecks-grayish/brown in color.
