Hey everyone, I've been lurking on the forum for a couple years now, and I finally sold my modded e36 bmw 328is and got a 2000 ttq with only 7k miles. I love it, and couldn't have bought it without the info and help I received from audiworld. So thanks!
Question is, the car came modded with an exhaust already (which I would have done anyway), but I'm not sure if it's also chipped (owner was a dealer who wasn't sure). Is there a quick and easy way to figure this out, or do I have to take out the ECU to see it?
Thanks!
p.s. that's not my car in the sig...

just turn the car on, turn on your cruise control, and hold down the set button for 5 seconds.
if the check engine light starts to blink, you've got an apr chip.
