Default Winter Beater or Snows

I am having the same debate (with myself). Do I sell the 92 Honda and buy rims/snow tires for the TT, or do I drive the Honda for the winter... It still has a few winter's life left in it.

What to do?

Default Black steel & ski rack equipped...TT will be put to the challenge, again.

Cold has moved into mountains of Oregon. Alpine dusting is underway. Button down the hatches. Warn the Donners. Winter is blowing in.

Default Re: No Way - Put on Winter Tires and Enjoy Quattro

I'm west of Boston (Hopkinton) and have Michelin Pilot Alpin and Borbet's ready to go for snow time. My '98 A6Q, with all season's, is great in the weather - the TT will be much better with dedicated winter tires. Have fun with the TT all year long.

Default I did that with my 83 URQuattro, kicking myself now, missed half the driving fun.

I'm 62 now and gonna drive the TTQ all year round, every chance I get. Artice Alpines in the garage waiting to go on, I'll get it back from Houston with ESP installed about Dec 1st, just in time for a Minnesota winter. Hey just drive the bitch!

If I can't drive with the top down, why bother. That's why I kept the old GMC Jimmy.
