Default I´ve decided to upgrade for k04 but need some answers:

Which one should be the best: neusped, awe, apr
I now that neuspeed is 245 hp as awe, and apr 280 but if in complement it the neuspeed or awe with an exhaust, intake and downpipe exhaust can i get the 280 hp?

Any other kit you recomend?

Default Using a Garrret turbo would have some technical advantages...

Their turbo design is highly evolved compared to the KKK '70's design. They supply turbos to the ALMS series as well. Maybe, Performance Engineered Systems has a kit now.

Garrett Turbos

Default If you have decided on K04 upgrade...

then definately go with AWE's upgrade. What they have seems to be what few of our fellow forum members have been using, and have had great success. Not that I wouldn't try out Neuspeed, but why be a guinea pig when you don't have to? Just my opinion Goodluck!

Default Yeah, I think it would make sense to skip the K04 and go for the Garrett in your case.

I still don't think it is worth 225 owners to do that upgrade but it makes much more sense for the 180TT

Default A couple things to keep in mind..........

if you are looking for big HP - over 240hp - then forget the K04. Most K04 kit's will get you to 240-250hp and that's about it. The TT's K04 with chip and exhaust get's you 265hp - but that is in part due to the differences in the 225 engine, exhuast etc., not to mention that the K04 on the 225 is different from those available aftermarket.

Personally - I would forget the K04 kit and save for one of the Garret Turbo based kits comming out. 260hp or more easily with these kits, and that is not even near the limits of the turbos.

APR and PES are both developing kits. Neither is ready now, as far as I know.

Default read what Mike wrote. He was talking in general terms . . .

he did say it made sense for a 180 owner to get a K04, though I think the K04 is not worth it even if installed for free and givne to you for free! A Garrett Turbo is the way to proceed, at least until something better comes along. Not enough potential from a K04.

Quick Reply: I´ve decided to upgrade for k04 but need some answers:
