I am considering to chip my leased TT when APR is here. Is it OK to chip leased vehicle?

Then u have a socket soldered in your ECU. Only take a couple screws to open ECU and check it out...
In a leased vehicle it would be nice to have a spare ECU, so if you needed to swap back there would be no chance of dealer finding out if you need major warranty work or end of lease.

Yes but remember, warranty is warranty buy or lease. Now the only difference from a purchased car..
is that you are probably going to return it and they are going to check to make sure everything is ok. If you bought at least the dual program chip (stock/chipped) then just put it in stock and return it... very few dealers will know the difference and even fewer actually check.
Now, a spare ECU might be another options so you can make sure your warranty won't go down the drain (depends on dealer) but its not necessary.

Same exact deal. APR/GIAC/ABT.... you will alter the ECU in one way or another with ALL of those...
chips... and as long as you alter it you are supposed to restore to original before returning the car after the lease. Now, APR has EMCS which lets you switch back and forth between stock and chipped so you can put it in stock and hope the dealer doesn't open up the ECU to check when you return the car (chance are they won't). I'm not sure if GIAC (x-chip) has that, I seem to remember that its socketed which means that they alter the ECU to add a socket so that you can take the actual "chip" in and out.
