I am considering to chip my leased TT when APR is here. Is it OK to chip leased vehicle?

Default Here they are...

1) All BMW drivers are *******s (or drive like they must be)
2) Every BMW driver thinks that the local highway is LeMans (at the expense of other drivers)
3) BMW is actually not a German Acronym, but English reversed for Want a Mercedes Benz.
4) BMW's break... constantly.
5) BMW has to pay off every car magazine to convince the editors, that twitchyness and skidding are "visceral"

More to come.

Default are you truly that Ellen? Kinda cool how you brand yourself. Not bad - much better than your

average actors site (i.e. rising star in the entertainment blah blah blah blah)

Default However, if they find the chip with a lease - they can prosecute to get damages

with owned car - they can refuse on warranty.

And remember - NONE of the people here advocating chipping will be willing to pay your damages - whether legal or otherwise...

Default No, stock chip is removed from board and socket is put in it's place.

You can the plug the stock chip back into socket if you want. You then have a socket soldered on the board. It's obvious to anybody who opens the ECU that it's been tampered with.

Default But thats why I would base it on your relationship with your dealer. If its a hard-*** dealer I ...

would stay away from chipping. If you know your dealer or service manager well and they have a don't ask don't tell policy (some actually do - although informally) then you have the choice.

For the record, I don't advocate chipping... its just a choice I made. One that I am happy I took (even if it did take 2 years to make up my mind).
