I am looking to get a set of Hawk HT-10 race pads to switch out for track use...

On my OEM sized Power Slot rotors. Does anybody have experience with the Hawk HT-10 pads or would recommend something else? Will these track pads tear up and destroy my rotors after one day on the track or will they last somewhat longer? I am tracking my car about once a month.

They are definitely a track only pad. I change the street pads out in the morning at the track and pull the HT-10's out at night before going home. They don't seem to be causing any undue wear on my rotors, but I've heard that if you drive them on the street they will eat rotors, they need to be hot to work.
I had been running HPS pads at the track, but as my speeds were coming up and the pads heated up a few laps in, I was getting severe fade. The HT-10's have made all the difference in the world, I can drive in deeper, brake later, and never worry about fading. Well worth the $220 IMHO.

Now that I am chipped with more power, when I switched to the Hawk HPS they faded a lot on the track.
I found the HT-10's for $149/front set (4 pads) at Race Shopper. and I think I'll get them.
I am going to try swapping out the pads myself once before I get to the track so I can make sure I can do it quickly there. Shouldn't be that hard.
