Let's forget history? Get real!
Let's say for a moment that everyone in the entire region has their memory blanked and all they know is present day circumstance (clearly not going to happen but let's play your theory out for a minute).
We would still be left with the Palestinians living under foreign military occupation. There is no way to ask them to stop resisting being occupied as long as the occupation continues. This is pretty simple stuff.
The PNA and PLO have made plenty of mistakes. There are a lot of people in both bodies that I and many Palestinians don't like. Having said that, neither the PNA nor the PLO are illegally occupying Israeli land.
One last point: the 'crackdowns' you talk about are not the result of bombings. Palestinians are resisting. Take away what they are resisting (the occupation of lands taken in 1967 - the borders that the vast majority of the world and Palestinians recognize) and then we can talk about Israel defending itself.

that prohibit the capture of land through force. They also signed the UN charter which prohibits the same thing. Whose PR is incosistent here?
This is quite an important point. World Wars were fought and lost about this point. International law forbids the capture of land by force. Are you suggesting that we throw out international law?
BTW, Trans-Jordan is a British term. The land is called Palestine and has been called that since the bible was put together...not that this should count for anything.

There is no military support for this claim. There is also no strategic reason supporting this claim. The pre-1967 borders are as 'defensible' as the current ones. The only possible exception to that is the Golan and making that a DMZ under Syrian control would solve that.

There are a number of Israeli and World court cases regarding the precise location, whether it should be moved, or whether reparations should be paid to Palestinians.
Israel doesn't seem entirely deaf to the complaints of Palestinians and has ordered both payments and movements of the wall.

There are so many out there.
The ICJ ruling is here:
http://www.icj-cij.org/icjwww/idocket/imwp/imwpframe.htm
The Israeli courts rejected it.
Show me where Israel has changed the course of the wall or paid Palestinians for the land stolen to build it.

One of the many images of the wall's route

I don't intend to inslut you but you throw out these comments. There are lots of examples of DMZ's in various parts of the world. You should be able to think of at least 3. If you can't you really need to do more reading.
