Default i did a no vag throttle body adaptation last night!

wow, what a HUGE difference. i think my pedal was really out of wack. i know part of the improvemnet is putting the car back to 100% mean and aggresive mode. but i think my throttle positions were way off. now it seems that boost is more closely related to pedal location. this simple reset is a must.

per earlier post

on a cold car

1. open door (i left it open, don't know if you need to leave it open)
2. turn key to on position, engine off.
3. wait two minutes
4. turn off
5. enjoy!

Could you "hear" it doing its thing? Does make any noises so that you know its doing something?

Default That's interesting. What specific improvements do you notice?

Since I've owned my car, I've noticed the drive-by-wire is really touchy. The throttle pedal usually feels more like an on/off switch. Wonder if this (vag or sans-vag) could help?

I'll have to do that. Any other cool tricks like this?

i couldn't hear it but then again, it was about 32 degress, raining and i was in a suit so i didn't exactly have my ear up to the T/B. i just wanted to give it a try.

Default that's also how mine felt

it was annoying. now it feels more, shall i say like a normal pedal. seems to be more variable (boost and all). the response time is so much better. i notice my shifts are smoother too b/c of this increase in responsiveness. it used to bog a bit in between gears, now the pedal is much more connected to my brain.

i'm waiting on someone to say the whole adaptation process is a myth and make me look like a jackass. but i swear it's so much better.
