After frantic searching of the paper here and finding nothing but oil field techs and mechanics wanted... I went back to my old employer at the auto accessories shop.
Now... I left this place because of his unfair practices. IE there were no schedules.. you showed up at 6am... and you didnt leave until he said you could... sometimes 8pm to midnight... Oh and you wernt allowed your 1 hour lunch or any breaks.... Most were lucky to get 5 minutes to eat lunch in the back room. I had a problem with him and school... I'd given them my schedule and told them I'd be leaving work at such and such time for class... which they were fine with. BUT when that time came around I'd end up sitting in an office waiting for the guy to talk to me about what I got done today... sometimes I'd wait for 30 minutes! He told me "your smart, you can make it up" I finally got tired one day and left because they refused to let me leave for my lunch because the sales floor was busy... and I didnt even WORK the sales floor!! weather I had been there or not it wouldnt have mattered... cause I was in the back office doing purchasing. I told them what they were doing was illegal and unethical... and they told me that I couldnt just march in here and tell them when I could work and when I couldnt (school... lunches... doctors appointments etc)
That was over a year ago... in may of last year. Well... turns out that the guy has handed the company over to a consultant. People have days off! schedules... and scheduled 1 hour lunches!! So perhpas this time around it wont be so bad... I'm on at only 7 an hour though... I wanted 8, which is where I left at, but the guy wanted to pay me 6! So its a decent compromise I guess. After 90 days I get moved back up to 8 becasue they are over budget on their payroll and need to get rid of some of the sales staff.
And what will I be doing? I'll be doing the purchasing again... AND straightening out all the crap they fudged up in the system. Can you say overtime?
VW here I come!

the one that replaces the stock single unit. If there is a savings over the FMIC and the install hassles, that may be really good for 180's going to a Ko4 kit.
