dry your car after it's been washed. I've tried the 100% cotton towel method...I also went and bought a sheepskin shammy. Every time I do it I get these horrible looking marks on my car after I have dried it. Like water stains.
So far the best way I have found is to burn down the highway and let it air dry. It leaves very little water marks.
What am I doing wrong? =(

You need two things:
1) The California Water Blade --a squeegee for your paint, gets 90% of the water off quickly

2) The P21S drying towel -- made of a synthetic material, dries your car better then any cotton towel EVER could. Also, don't bother with that "Absorber" thing from the local auto store. The P21S is the only way to go.

nor with waterspots etc. How you say? Easy, I didn't wash them all the time :-)
Seriously though, i've used a synthetic and real chamois in combo and I never wash the car when it's hot out and always dry in the garage. I use Klasse products exclusively and have for over 15 years on ALL my black cars. Never really had problems with swirl marks either. I use a random orbital polisher as well which help tremendously.
Waterfest was the first time I used a Water Blade and I have to admit - I was pretty impressed. I'll stick my old tried and true method of using a chamois though.
