Default i had some time to put in my nuvi 360...

i liked the nuvi 350 unit...and when bluetooth came out for it, i decided to get one. then i ordered a few gadgeTTs from Steve...the double vent mount, then a single...then bought some RAM mount configurations.

well, after trying out several different options...mixing and matching parts, i decided that most of the solutions involved too much mounting hardware. i then proceeded to butcher my suction cup mount that came with the unit (and if i screwed up, could always buy another one from Garmin).

well, i sliced off the arm with the ball part and epoxied (JB weld) it onto the ModShack GadgeTT double.

and use the snap mount with ball socket from the nuvi package...here's a side view:

here's a shot with the nuvi mount snapped in:

and with all the pieces put together:

underneath shot...which you probably won't see:

and last, but not least...a shot with the nuvi 360 removed:

Default images are loaded up....

i forget to click preview beforehand...and usually it checks for the images only if they are posted on AudiWorld and automatically gives you a preview.

oops, i just pressed the Post reply button while the images were loading up via FTP onto another server.

Default thx! appreciate it...

you should have seen what it looked like before...i had the RAM ball mounts and they were huge in comparison to the 1/2" ball that was on the nuvi original mount...almost overkill.

this is a little more elegant and fits in the character of the nuvi, which BTW, it pretty small.

Awesome. Where did you get it, and how do you like it so far?

Default thx! and the vents still work fairly well without blockage...i had one version that was lower...

and didn't look right. plus, the antenna works faster to acquire the satellites when it was higher up.

Does the bluetooth hook up to the headunit or is it a separate set up?
