Default thx. got the nuvi from an online dealer...was alot less than what most places are

charging...$685.

i really needed the bluetooth which dials my treo wherever it is in the car. the mic is not all that great, but maybe because my cabin is a little noisier than most. i can hear the person on the nuvi very well, but they have a more difficulty hearing me.

Default bluetooth is built-in the nuvi...and there's a pickup microphone in it and the speakers face

the rear of the unit. i'm not sure if you can wire it into the TT...would have to ask Bipes.

Default

Any audio-out, speaker or line-level can be interfaced with the OEM system.

Default i saw how you put a SE bluetooth HF kit in on your website...

but if the nuvi has an audio out...can i integrate and use the existing Bose HU and tap in for mute, etc.? i know it says that its difficult on your website...just wondering if it would be worth my while.

Default thx. you should have seen it before. was a mess...but i finally figured out what had

to be done. and besides...some of the other configurations were in the way of shifting and hands on the steering wheel motion...so i wanted to get it as close to the dash as possible and still be able to rotate it in many directions. the ball socket mount that comes with the nuvi allowed it to be pretty flexible and the angle of that mount is just enough to clear alot of stuff on the dash.

Default auido-in to the H/u is easy, but if the Nuvi does not support H/U mute, it's tough...

It would take a separate switch then to mute the regular audio to switch in the audio-out of the Nuvi.

That's nearly unacceptable, as you'd have to find the switch when a call comes in.

Also, looks like the Nuvi does not have a speaker jack, nor does it support H/U muting.

Default Is it hardwired for power? I saw this unit this weekend and was thinking of doing this same

type of install. Looks great!
