Went to the gym this evening and left at 10 PM. Got in the car with my wife and started driving home. We rolled the windows partially down because we both just ran 3 miles and it was warm. On the way out of the parking lot there is a stoplight. When the light turned green, I turned left.... then my wife started screaming, "THE CAR NEXT TO US THREW SOMETHING IN OUR CAR!!!!!!" As I looked over, a firecracker exploded on my wife's body and started burning. I closed my eyes just as the firecracker flew at me and hit me in the face. It hit the dash in front of me and burned out after a few more seconds. It was a struggle to keep the car on the road, but I pulled to the side. Burned my face... my right eye... my tongue. **** YOU *******S!!!!!! Didn't even see the other car.... didn't see the plates.

Yeah, we'll live. She wasn't burned...... I just have little burns here and there. I'll have one of my friends look at my eye tomorrow, but I think it's ok.

Nobody else around? What the bastards did to you is no minor offense. You and you wife could have been easily killed. If someone else was around and refused to help, they are almost as guilty as the guy who threw the firecracker.

so glad you're ok though (as in it could have been much worse). My wife and I got back to her car (she now has the 3.2 TT) and some idiot had backed out of a space wrong and scrapped the entire back bumper.
Good thing was because the traffic was going nowhere (car park) he had no choice but to exchange info (insurance, DL # etc). From experience I know the rear bumper repair is approx $500-$700.
