I have been offered an exclusive right to market the Targa Florio historic race here in the USA

Since this forum is filled to the brim with auto and racing enthusiasts, I am curious if anyone here would be interested in the event.
For those of you who are not familiar with the Targa Florio, the first one was held in 1906, on rural roads in Sicily. The race underwent several changes, but remained a race on public roads, consisting of 4 laps totalling about 270 miles. The last one was run in 1973 and won by a Porsche.
Now the race is like the Mile Miglia, a historic race not a competition. The Targa is open to any car built prior to 1973, but frequently features older exotics.
Obviously, the roads have changed dramatically since the early days of the race, and Sicily itself is a spectacularly beautiful island.
I'm not putting anything together, I'm just gauging interest: Would you, as an auto/race enthusiast travel to Sicily to see a historic race as part of an overall trip experience?

It's my favorite story, how we would have gone to Italy if not for a slightly unexpected pregnancy.
