I have had a recurring problem with my DV. At 2700 RPM I get the whirr and noise and occasionally loose power. I know all about the typical recurring DV problems, I even had problems with the forge valve from Stratmosphere. I am thinking obviously that since I have already tried 6 different valves and the same problem comes back after a week or two that something else is involved. My dealer is great and they are trying to help. My 225TTR is 6 months old with 4200 miles on it. According to Audi in Detroit and the regional guy they want to install a new computer module and another valve. I don't care at this point what they do as long as the problem is fixed. Have any of you experienced any of these problems not being cleared up with the forge valve. Do any of you think that there is a tie in with the computer module. I would appreciate any thoughts.

with either the Forge or the Bailey dv you will still get some noise: it's the piston opening and shutting. What you do get with the non-oem dvs is effective devices that work as they should. That's why you buy and install the Forge/Bailey.
I seriously doubt that there's anything wrong with the ecm.
My 2c as an early Bailey user.
