Did u see at the first pic, other than the DV and SSQV, there is another silver thing beside. that is a 1" soild aluminium which cover the open hose.
About the boost guage, I just follow one of the member's instruction, I don't know what exectly is that but it work!

You said something about a fabricated part... what is that? How loud is the sound... it is a whoosh sound? Will it hurt the engine in any way? I run a 180 chipped, and think my original DV (5th one) is starting to go... I get a small surge/hesitation like before.
